Anya Goldstein is a creative and tenacious litigator who serves as a force multiplier in seeking justice for her clients.

Trained by leaders in high-stakes litigation, Anya learned early what it takes to win and the skills necessary to get there.

She quickly gains command of the facts, critically analyzes the law, and weaves the two into a compelling story to present to the audience—whether that be the jury, the court, or the opposing party.

She is known for her strategic thinking, her hard work, and her creativity in achieving her clients’ goals.

On the civil side, she has litigated cases involving contract and partnership disputes, fraud/misrepresentation, SEC enforcement, civil RICO, business torts, unfair competition, copyright, trade secret/employee mobility, and professional liability.

On the criminal side, she has handled cases involving healthcare and wire fraud, conspiracy, RICO, environmental crimes, identity theft, drug trafficking, and money laundering.

Her clients include individuals, closely-held and public companies, and municipal entities.

She has tried cases to verdict and argued multiple appeals in the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit.

She has represented dozens of witnesses in civil, criminal, and regulatory matters.

Her appellate victories include two published Ninth Circuit opinions, United States v. Kechedzian, 902 F.3d 1023 (9th Cir. 2018) and United States v. Wijegoonaratna, 922 F.3d 983 (9th Cir. 2019).

Anya has been recognized as a Rising Star or Super Lawyer every year from 2017 to the present.  In 2023, she was also named to the Southern California Rising Stars Up-and-Coming 100 list.

In 2018, Anya co-founded Summa LLP, a premier white collar litigation boutique in Los Angeles.

Before Summa, Anya practiced at Munger, Tolles & Olson LLP, where she represented international entertainment, investment, and professional services firms in high-profile disputes and investigations.

Early in her career, Anya served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kim McLane Wardlaw of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Anya served for ten years on the board of UCLA Law Women LEAD, a women's initiative that partners with UCLA alumnae and students to create intergenerational networks for professional support and advancement.  She served as the founding co-chair of LEAD's Student Engagement Committee and of LEAD's Inclusion & Strategy Committee, and as co-secretary of LEAD's Strategy & Operations Committee.
